    Hi

    just 2 quick questions,

1: about 25 years ago i was on very good money, i had a couple of holidays to Russia, and put it on a credit card this included cash while i was out there, when i got back was paying it off with no problems, and after about 3 months lost the contract. Co-op at the time sent to various (kept changing hands) DCA's this ws incurred 20 plus years ago, do they still have claim on it ?

2: recently mint credit card were taking minimum payment from me i also had no access to see my statements and never once did they send me one, the payments stopped so i thought it had come to an end, now RBS are chasing for arrears, i had no idea it had not finished if they stopped taking money is that my responsibility ?

    many thanks in advance

Very tricky to say, it depends on what has happened since you paid for the holiday, when a default notice was served on you when it expired etc. Cases like this are very tricky to advise on the forum because you never get all of the info needed tobe able to draw a definitive view on the merits.

On the second point, it seems Mint may have opened a can of worms, they have a duty to serve statements of account, they should have told you that they were stopping payments and the FCA has issued guidance on this type of issue too, so they may have a headache or two here.
