Hi,
I'm hoping for guidance on a credit card debt being chased by Cabot Financial.
Back in November 2015 Cabot wrote with a demand for payment on a balance owed to Capital One.
This was an account opened in 2005 and where the last payment or acknowledgment was September 2009.
I sent a CCA Request letter which they received on 1st December 2015.
I had no reply from them.
Then fast forward almost 20 months later to yesterday where they have sent a reconstituted Credit Agreement, Terms and Conditions, Varied Terms and Conditions, a printed page of the last transactions which indicate failure to pay charges from October 2009 onwards and a cover letter to saying they consider the agreement now enforceable and are entitled to obtain a CCJ against me.
My letter in December 2015 did not accept liability for the debt, nor have any been made post September 2009.
Please could someone help with a reply to Cabot?
Many thanks
