Hello, I took an Ikano storecard in 2009. I moved around the UK three times in 2010, within a short space of time. Ikano were informed of my new addresses but I didn't receive any bills. I wrote and complained as I knew charges etc would be added and informed them without a bill I could not pay as I did not have their banking details.
I heard nothing until I received a letter from Lowell requesting £380. They have informed me they now own the debt. The original balance was £200 and the limit on the account was £250. I have said I will pay the original balance due but not the rest as I stopped receiving bills 9I have family at 2 of the addresses who can support this) so could not pay and I never received any default notices etc but have been offered a 10% discount.
I have been informed by Bryan Carter and Fredrick International they will instruct solicitors to issue a claim. Does anyone know where I stand on this matter?
