Anyone had dealings with "Debt Managers" DCA??

Hi

Lowell have now passed one of my accounts with them to a company called Debt Managers in Rotherham. Never heard of them anyone had any dealings with them?

They have a website they boast they collect the uncollectable debt HA HA I cant wait for Lowells to pass ours on ill prove them wrong GUARANTEED

When you read the website it sounds like they are superstars but I haven't heard of them ...that must be a cue for the postman to call:spooky:

Aparrently, they are the first agency in Scotland to carry out doorstep collections - Last time i checked rotherham was in south yorkshire a part of england, not scotland. http://www.debt-managers.co.uk/doorstep_collection.html

I wonder if they are connected to Mackensie Hall at all?

According to companies house the company was incorporated in 01/06/2012 - So long after Mackensie Hall.

Well think this might be a good thing for me, Lowell have never actively pursued this debt even though they bought it around 2010. It's statute barred March or April 2014 so I'm sure I'll be able to ignore Debt Managers first few letters then send them cca request which will buy more time until it's barred - hopefully anyway!

You don't say how much this debt is for, if it's over £750, you have to keep a close eye, because Lowell are very fond of issuing Statutory Demands. If they issue one, you have 18 days to submit your application for set aside. :clock:
