If he's selling his HOME too then surely it has to be "outside the trade/business" :noidea:
Debt is like any other trap, easy enough to get into, but hard enough to get out of.

I think you'll have to go a bit deeper than that Ian.

Could you stop posting your email address - to us, you are just a completely random person.

Then could you please point to the part in ' English Law' or the Property Ombudsman guidance that states a contract must be signed by the seller first.

What do you mean by Contact removed??
The copy contracts he sent me do not have mothers signature. The second signature isn't my fathers either, nor is the DOB correct.
His last email was unless my mother pays this debt by Wednesday he will start court action against her at MY address unless I give them her forwarding address.

'Contact removed' is just taking off an email address at a yahoo account that Ian kept posting ( I have no idea who's email address it was )

1h on the property ombudsmen is interesting. NONE of there paper work had TPO logo
Only the very last invoice had said logo.

Andreawx, do EW have your mother's address to serve court papers to? They don't have a claim against you directly, they're just pressuring you to pay an alleged debt that isn't yours, and even if they do have your mother's address, she hasn't signed any agreement with them either.

In my mind it very much sounds as though EW are making unwarranted threatenng demands on you, ie blackmail

No they have no address for my mother, he insists he will have CCJ served for her at my address, although she has NEVER lived here. I am still trying to find definite business law..
