Having to deal with Rossendales at the moment, just wondering whether, as all their payment methods have a fee attached to them, can anyone advise whether they are obliged to offer a fee free payment method i.e. I want to set up a standing order and have requested that they forward me the details to do so?

    Thanks

What is the debt in relation to that Rossendales are chasing you for. Are they acting as Bailiff of as a Debt Collector here, as they do both?

Why can you not deal with the CSA directly?

          Re: Payment Charges

Its a long story, basically its a 20 month old liability order that has now been farmed out to Rossendales to recover the alleged debt. I am disputing the legitimacy of the order with the CSA as they obtained it whilst the matter was under dispute which they are no allowed to do. Having taken advice it will be almost impossible to overturn the order due to the time elapsed, and to keep these morons from the door it is easier to make token payments whilst I continue to dispute the matter. What I object to is the fees they charge for each time you pay and I am hoping that they are in someway obliged to give me the bank details required to set up a standing order?

Apart from the wholly praiseworthy purpose of keeping lawyers employed, what is the point of disputing an order that cannot or will not be overturned?

              Re: Payment Charges

Getting off the point a bit, but basically the order should never have even been applied for as the CSA are not allowed to pursue enforcement of a debt when the debt is a matter of dispute. The court in reality should have realised this and not issued it and I shouldn't have trusted the CSA and applied for the order to have been nullified immediately.......however the order exists and whilst I pursue the legitimacy of it I just want to make token payments but would rather do this without paying their fees per payment made.
