i owe lowell £450

took out a littlewoods account about 2 years ago
I still owe 450 on the account, lowell are writing to me everyother week
Is there anyway to get them to close it down?
atm my credits bad enough so i doubt they can affect it and there not getting a penny

We have 22 letters from the Lowell monkeys with all sorts of threats and offers ranging from 10% off to 50% off to threats of courts bailiffs and everthing they dont give uo and we have never acknowledge the debt or thay we are the named person they are paper wasting comedians and our debt is less than yours like you we will never give them a penny

The good thing about this is that they can't serve one of their infamous statutory demands on you, as the debt is below the £750 threshold. :thumb:

Knowing Lowell, it's unlikely they will just agree to close it down. You could try hitting them with a CCA request. You say the account is just 2 years old so probably not unenforceable as such, however, they may struggle to produce anything and it could shut them up, you never know, may be worth it for the sake of £1 + postage. Up to you. :grin:

Well they might try FP, they have been known to issue SD under the £750 mark. Let's hope they are learning the error of their ways.

But if they did, that, in itself, would be an argument to have it set aside and costs awarded against them, as well as to complain to the OFT!:thumb:
