    Hi

I wonder if anyone could give me some advice, I have so far received 2 letters from the above company and today a phone call. I have not responded to the letters and i was out when they phoned. They are trying to contact me using my maiden name saying they have something personal to discuss, which made me suspicious to begin with as i have been married 9 years. I am 100% sure i do not owe anyone anything I work in a proffession where i have to be credit scored each year and I have done one this week and it shows all green plus my score is high. I have never not paid any debt, i have never missed any mortgage payments, i pay my credit cards in full, i have never missed a phone payment or been overdrawn ever so i am really very confused as to why they are contacting me. What should I do?
    Thank you for your help.

File any and all correspondence under I.
Mucky Hall specialise in the unenforceable and statute barred debts.
They will NOT be taken further legal action, no matter what they say..

Looking at what you say it would seem that they are embarked on a fishing expedition they probably searched the electoral register or land registry and came up with a list of names one of which would have been similar to the one the were looking for and rang them all just in case.

Disgusting practice, but hey whats new.

If it were me i would contact them and point out their error, I know it is not usual practice to contact DCA's, but in this case, if you want to ensure they stop ringing I would make it plain they had the wrong person.

Too be honest i am a bit worried about contacting them as i've read loads of scary posts, I am the person they are trying to contact but i know i don't have any debt but i am worried they will try and say i have, why would they contact me if they didn't have a file surely that's illegal?
