    Hi
I posted this before did not understand the answer shoo can you tell me in simple English if I gather a case and how to go about it. In1998lost my job and my direct debits where still being paid by my over draft so I went to the bank told them what was happening and that I was starting a new job in couple of weeks and after that I could catch up the lady thanked me said she wild put a hold on my account one week later had two letters one saying cut my card up as I not customer any more second was a letter from debt managers saying they had my debt my over draft was £1000 so thinking with interest and charges at worse £1500 so I started paying about twin pounds a week for the last six years been paying £3 they say I still owe £3800 can this be right if not who and how
Also over the six years was paying by cheque but two years ago they started a standing order bank said I signed but I never and when I asked them they said they would send a copy of the agreement but never did at time did not what to start some think I could not win but today banks and DCA have been shown what lies they make.
Thank for anyone that can help me.

    Re: debt managers

If the time limits you have stated are true, then it would appear the bank have behaved somewhat hastily to say the least. I would be inclined to send a SAR to them so that you get al information and dates.

It is unfortunate you didn't get they verbal offer to put your account on hold in writing, but hopefully the lady was efficient and recorded it and it will come in the SAR. You then have a solid base from which to start building your case.

"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )
