  • CRA Agencies

    Hi everyone.

You will have to excuse my waffling, but I'm a Legle Beagle newbie.

Just want some direction. How do I stand with debts that are being chased but are not registered with either Experian or Equifax?

Just how much clout does this info have on the DCA's?

    Hope the q's make sense.

    Any advice much appreciated.

Thanks to you all in advance

    Re: CRA Agencies

    believe me

as soon as you acknowledge the debt with a DCA, they will default you with the CRA

but it depends though on if they own the debt or are simply collecting on behalf of the original creditor for a commission payment

only the original creditor can default you, a DCA will just update the default with the CRA in their own name if they own the debt. the default date when the original creditor defaulted the account will stay the same though, no matter who owns the account
