  • Bryan Carter/Frederickson International CCJ mess - even more confusing!

    Hi all

This is related to previous post Very confused newbie . . . .Bryan Carter/Frederickson International CCJ mess

As advised by 'militant' I wrote to BC quoting the account number written on the back of my returned PO - he replied with a single line letter saying 'Please note that we are no longer in connection with this matter and have returned the account to the client.' - 'the client' being Arrow Global and an account number at the top of the letter.

So no answer to any of my questions e.g. requesting a statement of payments made towards the CCJ and asking why the FredPay.com page says that the account was not being dealt with by BC at the time of CCJ or since June 2010, even though they have only just told me the account isn't being dealt with them anymore.

EVEN MORE CONFUSING . . . .I originally emailed Northampton Bulk Centre to ask for the name on the CCJ but got no answer, so I then phoned them and was told it was Bryan Carter, acting for Bryan Carter.
Today I got an email saying that the client was Co-operative Bank and that the solicitor was Bryan Carter - an entirely different account number and ref number - nothing to do with Arrow Global or the 5K alleged debt! . . . .BC obviously thinks that it is though as do Frederickson - as they have been taking my payments all this time and relating them to Arrow Global (supposedly).

I did have a bank account with Co-Op in 2006-2008 which I haven't used since - I've checked my credit report for it and it's there but it says that the balance = 0 and the status of the account is unknown.

I've phoned Northampton back and the've said that the email is correct and whatever I was told on the phone previously wasn't correct.

How can I have a CCJ re the CO-OP if I don't owe them anything?
How can BC/Frederickson have got so confused over what the CCJ relates to?
    What do I do next????????

this realy does smell of carter going for his costs first then going for another ccj later (alleged)

it was Bryan Carter, acting for Bryan Carter.

phone carter up again and ask him for a copy of the N1 CLAIM FORM

if he declines say you are sending him a data subject access request for it

Thanks for your help again. Will write to him and see what happens. He obviously doesn't know his bottom from his elbow. :tinysmile_hmm_t2:

            Update . . . . .

Finally had another letter from BC stating the same info as Northampton gave me (different account number to the one BC claimed was to do with me), enclosing a statement of all the payments I have made so far and the remaining balance, and stating that I need to keep paying him/Frederickson as before. Letter was full of typos and although headed for the attention of 'Mrs', it started 'Dear Sir' . . . does nobody in their office proof read these things before they are sent out?
No apology of course for mixing the account numbers up and returning a payment that shouldn't have been returned but I didn't honestly expect one.
I've sent the Postal Order they returned back, along with one for this month's payment. For £1.45 a month it's been an awful lot of fuss and bother for nothing.
Thanks again for all your help and advice - greatly appreciated. :tinysmile_grin_t:
