How old is Old and which DCA is involved.

      Re: Offer Letter

      Hi Curlyben,

The debt is about 5 years old possibly 2007, The DCA is Link and just to give you some background info, I received a Claims form from Northampton Bulk Centre with an issue date 2/5/12, I have completed the AoS and I have until the 4/6/12 to defend.

That said I think I may have made a mistake. I filled in the defence part of the online form with a statement along the lines I intend to defend all of the POCs and awaiting docs back so I can formulate my defence.

      I sent a CPR31:14 9/5/12 and a CPR15.5 21/5/12 I have not heard from them.

The offer letter is a Plan B.

As I dont have any docs I can only suspect that the debt is made up of charges/ppi/fees and so on.

Can I amend my Defence on line or am I stuffed ?.

If you have had no response to your cpr request you need to admend your defence to include this or better still apply for strike out with an unless order. Stating that as they (the claiment) have failed to respond to your cpr request that you request the judge to order the claiment to disclose said documents and if they fail to do so within 14 days of the judges order, you request the case be struck out.
