I get a letter from them today to say that their office is no longer dealing with my account & to make payments to the OC instead.
This was in response to my notice that the account was in dispute and woe be tied them if they carry on trying to collect on an account in dispute.
So great that they waved the white flag at me - but then the idiots tell me to make payments to the OC instead = idiots!
Oh well.....bring on the next DCA then :tinysmile_grin_t:

Yep Mr T,

RW have a really good habit of dropping themselves into the slurry pit. We have a selection of letters (threatening of course) from a series of private addreses in the UK all signed by someone claiming to be a "Branch Manager". They then set their tame solicitors on us one shower by the name of Horwich Farelly who ran away to get their nappies changed when we informed them in large writing who our solicitors were. Account shot back to OC and now we have Wescot/Nelson Guest sols who also returned the account to Wescot when we sent the same nursery pre school letter to them. And still the idiots persist.

Thanks Garlok, its always useful to have another solicitor to approach who will take the consumers side that are actually experienced in this leglislation.

If you want take a look at their website, they do have a dedicated consumer credit department headed up by a solicitor advocate who is a specialist.

RW are just pure scum.
I'm still trying to get a default ccj that I got from these muppets set aside.
Strangely its NBCC thats not playing ball. I requested all case info a few months ago and after chasing on the phone several times they are still not forthcoming with any info.
Guess I'll just have to keep chasing them and arguing with the bailiffs everytime they turn up!
