      Dan You have two choices

      1. Ignore these idle threats and hope they take you to court where you can prove the debt is Statute Barred and you have informed the Leeds Losers of this

      2. Complain to Lowells, the OFT, your MP and the CSA

        Dan, just report them NOW.
        Stop burgering about.
You have made the position very clear to them and yet they refuse to listen.
So set the dogs on them.

Have sent the letter now and it includes requesting their Complaints procedure. I checked their website - but they want you to call to complain and not write - yeah - right! Thanks guys. Leave and will start speaking with the OFT, CSA, FO and DPR - have download their forms and they all ask you to call before writing. So they have the package and I can prepare and research the complaints procedure.

Thanks for all your input will keep you updated.

Remember a complaint to the FOS costs the Leeds loser £600 for the priveliage of being investigated.

I didn't know that - It will be a joy doing that... When I looked at the Lowell site - it's a joke the way they introduce their different desks LP - LF - RED - Hampton. It's pure smoke and mirrors. I'll await the outcome of todays letter and by that time I will have all the complaints put together and fired off.

Lowell are also in clear breach of the CPUTR 2008 by threatening action which they know they cannot legally take and also by breach the guidlines of their trade organisation the csa

Re: Lowell and the Limitation Act 1980

The letters I have so far sent have all been alledged - I suppose you mean when I write the complaints - I had thought about adding CPUTR 2008 regulation 7 (8.11) as recommended by Angry Cat and I agree I will start putting all the complaints together including lodging with Consumer Direct. I think that one could say that the above letter is all inclusive and gives them a last chance to climb down - I assume they will be sending to their Hampton Desk and if they review with any sense they will surely give it up.

Get your MP involved as well and you may wish to consider the Daily Mail. The Leeds Losers are a bunch of Shysters and need punished

                            Dear All,

Here is the upshot from the Leeds Losers.

I received a very very polite letter from Lowell Portfolio (Not Red), Admitting that the debt IS statute barred and no further action will be taken and the account is closed. No information on who I should complain to. Do you think I should go for it or let it go? I still have a big fish to fry with Cabot....
