Thanks mate, I shall wait until i have the chq in my possession and cashed before i take on a complaint about the way the bank has handled this for the last 2.5 yrs.
but yes yes yes why the hell should they get away with it if we all had that attitude we would get no where.
I expect nothing less than at least a full and frank apology in writing from the bank.
As for the DCA they had no right to be involved at all, and yes wendy is right in that the bank should have called them off by now that I will take up with the bank once I have that chq sorted, but none the less they still should of checked with the bank first that there was no disputes or anything with the accounts first so I am at war with them.
I have raised the issue on the stance the bank is taking with this long ago, but as per usual it fell on deaf ears.
So now that I have the refund sorted I can take this full on.
