Mackenzie hall/Cabot

Hi all.
About a month ago i received a phishing letter from Mac Hall and ignored it on advice.
I've now received a letter form them saying they're acting on behalf of Cabot over this debt.

Is this the time to send the Statue Barred letter? The letter states i have till the 23rd November to pay in full and says that the "client" will pursue any means necessary!!

If this debt is mine(and i know just cos they say it is doesn't mean it is!) then it's at least 13/14 years old.

I'd appreciate any advice

Thanks, I've read all that's written on here about them so i'd kind of guessed what you'd say.
I'm assuming i'll get a few more letters for the draw now!!!

They'll probably send you another saying that an agent from Meritforce will be calling on you.
Don't sweat it as it's yet more Bovine Excrement..

After a while they'll get bored and give up

I've just had a good look at my back catalog from them and it seems that i have informed them that this is statue barred when they offered me a reduced settlement last August! The original debt is exactly the same!
What it seems they have done is changed the reference number to make it look like a brand new debt!!!

Report MuckHall to the OFT & contact your local Trading Standards, in order to log a complaint about them!
