what have Imperial Consolidated financiers Limited reg no 03430855 got to do with ICF Loans Limited reg no . 04172715 anything!
As according to company house they are two different companies, but it seems very strange though that the second company bears the same initials as the first one?

Can anyone clear this up.

It would appear they were linked but have gone out of business. The loans they held were bought by Merit.

According to company house ICF Loans Limited are still in business.

Reason I ask is that my CCJ was originally with Imperial Consolidated Financiers Limited then a year later in Nov 2001 it was sold to Orion Asset Finance Limited who then changed its name to ICF Loans Limited and like I said according to company house they are down as two separate companies?

Then just 6 months later in June 2002 Imperial Consolidated Financiers Limited went into administration mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

My mistake Imperial went bust. Sounds very fishy though doesn't it? Are the directors etc... named at Companies House? Are there any links?

Was the debt sold legitimately? What is its status now?

Any mention of Ronald Francis Higgins or RFH Ltd - they changed to Premium Financial Services Ltd on Sept 13 2004 and then to Merit Finance Ltd on Sept 17th 2004. Merit Finance bought the entire loan book when Imperial went bust.
