  • CAP QUEST

    Hi everyone

just wondering if you can help me please. What it is I owe RBS around £3,200 and the debt is around nearly 10 years old. Cap Quest have the debt now and I agreed to pay £50 per month which I have been paying for the last 12 months. Cap Quest have had the debt for years but I have paid a bit then hoped it would go away but it never. I have checked all credits reports and their is no trace of this debt which any credit agency. What should I do as I admit I do owe the money and want to pay it off ASAP. I undersatnd their will be charges etc can I get them to cancel these charges late payment & interest etc, or should I just offer them a final payment and if so how much.

I look forward to any advice

    Regards
    Glyn

What sort of debt is this ?
Before you offer a F&F to a DCA you must ensure that they have the legal rights to collection.
There should NOT be any charges or interest UNLESS there is a clear contractual obligation in the original agreements.
