Credit Rating
Hello all
I have just found out that my wife has a poor credit rating (to our shock)
as it turns out she once run a club (GUS) and one of her costmers died and the debt was put down against her. after several months of letters between the club and her it was agreed that the mans wife would take on the debt, which she did.
A debt collector B Carter FIL CLNT has been receiving a payment from the lady for the last 2 years and she has given me a copy of a statement from her bank to prove this, however the debt is still showing as a defualt on my wifes rating.
what can I do to change this?
I have tried to get a telephone number for this company but have been unable so far to do this. (I was trying to get them to send a letter to say that the debt was/is not ours)
Any help would be great.
