Re: CapQuest and Lowells
Thanks for that.
Sorry to be a bother but:-
My total debt owed is £2138.45, i've worked out my charges are £363.77. If I go down this road and have to go to court it will cost me and won't I end up with more or less the same owed? Can I just ask your advice as to whether I would be better off to offer a final settlement of maybe a cheeky 50% and see if they accept (or a different percentage)!! As this is currently in the hands of Lowells could I just send them a dispute notice then go directly to Egg with a final settlement offer? Do you know if when you make a final settlement offer it has to be paid in one lump sum or if it can be in a handful of payments.
I have worked out that my total spend on the card was £2377.62, I have made £1367.38 in payments (leaving an actual balance of £1010.24 without any interest or fees etc).
What i'm trying to achieve is to get the debt back with Egg and to pay it off at a reduced rate.
Thanks for that.
