  • Help.. Lowell and disputed debt

Hi. I have an old debt with vanquis. Over 3000 but that's because they didn't delayed activating my payment protection insurance at the time. And racked up months of interest, late fees etc etc. I disputed at the time. They said don't worry. It comes off. But didn't. They demanded payments so high that I couldn't keep up. They sent it to a dozen DCAs.

Now lowell have it and have held account fit a few days. They sent me statements. I told them its disputed debt but apparently the statements are proof enough that I owe a debt.

What can I do. I'm tearing my hair or. Advice agencies just advise yo pay it all. I don't owe all that. Vanquis lost the evidence I kept sending and ept saying don't worry. They broke the agreement. Have I any rights?

Send Lowell a CCA request there are plenty of templates about, chances are they won't be able to provide the credit agreement meaning the debt becomes unenforceable.

CCA Request send with £1.00 postal order (for CCA purposes only) and send Recorded Delivery and keep copies of all letters delivery signatures as well

might have statements the poor devils but without an agreement which is enforceable they know they have problems, do not get frightened by these people. (Thieves)
