DCA Sends back postal order

Hi, just wondering what theyre upto here.

In March they wrote to me saying that a claim I defended in October 2016 is being dealt with by their in house legal team and I'd hear from them shortly. Last week they send back the postal order I sent them for CCA request in October, saying it had bounced.


Is this just random incompetence or are they uto something?

Postal orders are only valid for 6 months, so they probably held on to it until it had expired.
Incompetent? or will use it as an excuse for not complying with the CCA request.

I take it you sent a covering letter with the PO? What a foolish move by the DCA. To me, sending it back could be seen as deliberate non-compliance and stonewalling at the very least. Send it again.
