Lorraine and GE Money

CL Finance have taken me to Court (Norhtampton), I refused to pay any money to them as charges had gone the account which I HAD NOT AUTHORISED, ie CPP A company who had rang me asking would I like Insurance on Card theft , I replied that could they send it to me in writing as I don't want to agree over the phone: Another company did the same, everytime GE Capital rang me for a payment I would make one and then ask them how i could cancel these as I had not authorised to which they replied they did not know. I have not used this card for years the only charges that have gone on are theirs and interest.

I spoke to someone from the Court saying that I wanted to come down to Court and tell them this, she gave me 2 weeks to get information, when I rang GE Money they replied that I would have to find out the exact time of the calls I received from GE Money or they would not be able to trace them, they said they are recorded but i must have the times within 3 minutes, how does someone get these, it is now too late and a bailiff is gone to arrive asking me for money that I don't feel that I owe.
I have recently moved as I could no longer run My business any longer, how can I afford to pay people that I don't feel that I owe money to?

Do I just have to pay? I have unfortunately been too busy doing 2 jobs to find time to do anything about any of this that is my only crime. I have all but given upand feel like just throwng in the towel as it is not the only thing that I owe I do not know where to start with it all!!!!

Issue a SAR or CPR18 request insisting on all data inclusive of telephone calls.

Put your acknowledgement in first of all. That has to be in in 14 days then we can look at defence etc.

And send off the CCA req and a full SAR to GE Money this week. Also send a SAR to CPP as well.

You could request under CPR once you have filed your acknowledgement - if they do not provide the information, you could then submit an "embarrassed" defence.
