Well, my misguided belief that MBNA have never taken any charges from OH's account was shattered last night. I phoned to cancel PPI (I know, I know, that's my next one). The lovely bloke I spoke to very helpfully informed me that there were 4 overlimit charges last year. Which is odd as card hasn't been used for ages.
So will be sending SAR when we get paid, lets see how much money we can scav up from this lot.
The helpful chap is also sending (he says) a copy of the CCA so we can see whether we actually ticked the PPi box or not.
And also found out that they've bunged the apr up to 34.9% and aren't going to issue a new card (good!!!)
I'll keep you posted.
