Just a quick tale about a recent success with Barclaycard.
Sent them an online message saying I thought their rate of interest was too high, particularly as new customers can get lower rates, and was there any chance of it being reduced. Their initial response was to tell me no, but I persisted, saying how unfair it was.
When their online system gets things like this, they then try to speak to you - in this case I never did talk to them, but simply niggled away at them using the online system.
End result - 8% off my rate of interest, refund of last month's interest and cancellation of the next two month's interest charges.
