Thanks for advice. I think that's what we should do. Besides just realised made a mistake with figures it's actually £169 after card cleared so not so bad.

I would take the offer if I were you. Judge might see it as a bit iffy if you carried on to court after they'd offered you charges and 8%. And you'll have got what you wanted, charges back etc. There has been a CI case lost recently. Gives ytou a bit of spends for Crimbo as well. Congrats. x

Well each to their own, however I got CI back on my Barclaycard. In fact got CI back on all my credit cards. I would not go CI route on current accounts.

Just to clarify its CI route or 8% route not both.

I appreciate what your saying XENA, and had it been my account I might have decided not to accept the offer. But my o/h suffers from severe depression and he
just want's it to be over and done with.

No problem like I said earlier each to their own and how comfortable they are with what they are doing.
But CONGRATS anyway. Barclaycard are pussy cats at the final stages!!

                  Re: calamity jane v Barclaycard

We've received Barclaycard's offer but it doesn't agree with what I thought we'd agreed on. So I'm writing to them setting out what we owe on the card, what they owe us for charges +statutory interest + I'm going to add on costs to date.
Also going to send off allocation questionnaire just in case they don't agree.
Am I right in thinking that all I have to include with the allocation questionnaire is the Draft Order for Directions?

                      Re: calamity jane v Barclaycard

The saga continues. After a phone call from Barclaycard last week have received a letter today saying their final offer is the original claim which included charges up to April 07 + 6months additional charges less the £124 already paid into account, which comes to £416.24 which they had credited to my husbands account. Charges left on account are £308.15.
I rang them today and they have confirmed today that the account has been cleared and that the remaining £108.09 will be transferred to our account within the next few days.:carrot:

Possibly the harrassement and failure to provide transcripts/ copy of husbands account file?.
ICO wrote to them last week giving them 28 days to provide the information.
I ai'nt holding my breath though.
