  • unauthorized transaction

hi, I am new to the forum. if you overdrawn your credit card and your current account is with the same bank (Barqlays) can they take money out of your account at put it into your credit card account? I have been shorter with 100£ as Barqlays credit card took out 100£ to cover my overdraft, from my student account, leaving me in trouble. I read on the internet that this action is perfectly normal and legal, but not sure....
    thanks

    Re: unauthorized transaction

    In short, YES.
It's known as Off Set and is covered in the T&C's.

As to fairness of this action, well that's a completely different question.
