  • Barclaycard late payment charges

    Hello,
I have been charged a few times during the years for late payments (£12 per charge), I have read that it is possible to claim back the charges, however I am not quite sure where to start...
I would really appreciate it if anyone who has been in the same situation as myself and knows what to do, could advise me further.

    Kind regards,
    Cathey R

      Re: Barclaycard late payment charges

well I am experiencing problems with my penalty charges claim with BC & they were at £20 a pop. They have refused to acknowledge the claim, despite sending them a spready from this site working out the claim etc. So off the complaint went to the FOS. Got a call off them last week telling me charges claims "dead in the water." So I emailed FOS today seeking clarification. Response I got was "we are looking into all of the issues." So we'll see what becomes of it. All the best Cathey R, I hope your claim succeeds.

Barclaycard are Pussycats -- keep on at them--FOS takes ages--if necc just N1 them at County Court--pay out straight away + your costs

I have all the numbers of Litigation dept at Canary Wharf etc etc when you are ready

        Turbo

Hi Turbs. yes middenmess has urged me to take the N1 route. I used the Tools vs Barclaycard letter template Turbo. I suggest that Cathey R uses it too, its a good starting point. My problem I think is that I have other dispute issues with Barcrapcard. But rest assured Turbs, when and if the FOS fail me I will take the N1 route.
