A cunning plan or a waste of time

Bit of a follow on from this saga, which is still ongoing.
CB Vs LTSB Platinum Card - Legal Beagles

So my cunning plan it an attempt to get LTSB bank charges directly refunded onto the card to reduce the balance.
Do I stand a snowballs or am I urinating into inclement weather ??
