I told them I could not pay the second card as I was disabled and could not work. I received a visit from a gentleman from Global Debt Recovery and after talking to this gentleman he said he would recomend the debt was written off as I could not pay and had no assets. After this I heard no more until February 2006 when I had a letter from a company called Scotcall Debt Collecting Services demanding the debt be paid. I told them I could not pay and after another visit at my home a second gentleman told me he would recomend the debt was written off. I heard no more until December 2009 when I was contacted by Clarity who are again demanding payment but the debt has increased by over 50%,What should I do. Please help. I am now a disabled pensioner and no way can I find the £1730 they are demanding.
