  • Credit cards on managed payments

Hi I wonder if you can help

My husband and I have credit cards on the managed payment system, could you tell me if it is possible to claim back charges on the credit card before they were transferred to this system? also how I would go about getting copies of the statements from the companies?

I have also heard about the government helping to write off some of the money if you are in financial difficulty, is this the case or another myth which companies try to con you out of money with!

    Thanks

    Hayley

The answer is 100% yes and you need to send a SAR to the credit card company directly with the statutory £10 fee. If NatWest or RBS are one of them(with regards to your other thread) then it is one fee for both bits of information.
