I would like advice about my Lloyds TSB Mastercard. I booked a holiday on thursday and it all went through okay. When I did internet banking today (Saturday) I see that my credit limit has been reduced not sure of when this was done but it was not before I booked my holiday as checked I had enough credit to be able to pay with my credit card. I am therefore over my credit limit by £1000.
I did not receive any notification that my credit limit was going to be lowered and would not have booked my holiday and paid with the credit care if I had known.
When I telephoned the bank today they said that I needed to pay the £1000 asap so the account was not over the credit limit - and they gave me another telephone number to discuss why the credit limit was reduced.
Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated
