  • Wrongful Default

This forum is close to my heart.I'm in a difficult situation i need some urgent advice. I will just keep details simple for the time being. Took out consolidated loan with santander the whole sum was paid to my account in error. i did not realised quite easily myself as its quite unusual for a bank to make such blunder. The Loan dept was still billing me for the old loan although theoretically its been paid off as have got those documents from them but practically it wasn't. some one from their complaints dept. advised me not to pay any money till matter was resolved which at first they denied but I kept records once that was revealed they now changed to couldn't remember he told me that. They only responded to my complaints formally at the time when the debt had just been sold. I offered to pay them directly that was declined as well. But reading some thread I realised the default will be illegal if I had pay the monthly sum within the 6 months time frame. To sum it all up I took it to FOS who uphold thier claim. i paid over £4000 the defaulted amount in about 10 months period to DCA just to save my credibility now both
santander and DCA registered on my CRF. I have called CRA to remove them they in turn had asked me to speak to the lender who in spite had refused to. could someone help me?
