Hello,
Hope someone can advise! I ordered 2 pairs of Skechers children's shoes from very.co.uk on the basis I was receiving £30 off of £50/£60 which made the shoes £20 each. This is my only reason for the order as I would have been able to purchase them cheaper than the retail price elsewhere.
One pair went faulty(lights stopped working) within a few days of receiving them which made by daughter very upset she is only 3 and had been really chuffed with them. I was advised to return them and order when they had been received back. When they were returned I went to order but they were no longer in stock! So by no fault of my own I was unable to get a replacement!! Very refunded the retail cost of these (£35). With no prospect of getting them from Very I Purchased them locally. A week or two later I went to pay the balance on the account only find that very had now reversed the promotion code and I am in a position where I'm expected to pay full price for the shoes which wasn't the deal I signed up to. This is NOT fair on myself and I feel the onus is on Very to correct this. I have spoke to them several times on the phone and offered that they apply 50% of the voucher or allow me to return the other set. Because the other set have been worn they couldn't guarantee they would be accepted and I might end up paying more to have them returned to me.
For me the entire fault here lays with Very not being able to provide me the product I ordered in a fit working state? Any advice? They expect me to pay the full retail value which isn't what I signed up to
