  • Someone else's agreement sent to me

    Hi,

I recently sent a CCA request to IND who are chasing what will be an enforceable agreement due to having been taken out post 2007. The reason for the CCA request was basically to buy myself time. However they have sent me some one else's agreement.

What should I do? Inform them of there error or just report them to the ICO and tell them they have not fulfilled my CCA request but not tell them why?

    Any suggestions appreciated.

The first step would probably report it back to the company who will raise the matter as a compliance failure, needing investigation.

You are able to contact the ICO directly to say that your CCA request was not completed. However, you can expect little more than an apology from IND as it looks like simple human error.
