  • Unregulated Credit Agreements

I put forward a complaint to the FOS a few months ago about a company who I have a secured unregulated loan agreement with. When I first got in touch with the FOS and explained to them my grievance I did explain in the initial conversation that the loan was unregulated. FOS however did say that they could look into the agreement for me and therefore I proceeded to give them all the information I had and the grievance details.

I got a phone call today from the adjudication team to say they can't look into it because the agreement is unregulated however they can pass the details onto their Ombudsman if I am unhappy with the response!

Apart from wasting my precious time I am of the strong belief the FOS stands for F*****g Out-of-touch Service!!!

Not holding my breath from the Ombudsman. Can anyone give me advise on what organisation CAN help with Unfair Relationship issues and LIBOR interest rate anomalies? I have already thrushed things out with the company concerned and they said if I am unhappy with their reponse I can take it to the ombudsman service........

    I need a stiff drink!!!!

      Re: Unregulated Credit Agreements

Sorry, what is a DM? I'm a self confessed techno-phobe ! Since posting this message I have had further coms from FOS and they said that although the DCA that bought the unregulated loan is not covered by the the FSA the orginal lender is so a lot of my issues can still be challenged via the original lender. Any further information you can help me with would be greatly appreciated.
