please can anyone advices us, we told a learn out 7 years ago with swift for 7,500 pounds about 5 years ago we fell behind on the debt for 5 months, we were taken to court and they said if we pay an additional 43 pounds on top of the monthly payment of 197 pounds we would finish the debt. we finished paying the debt in feburary, we receiveda letter saying that we still owed 8000 pounds the intrest that was for the 5 months we hadnt payed. we offered to pay 100 pounds month and they told us that 88 pounds of that was intrest so we would only be paying 22 pounds of a month. this loan is secured on our home please help us .
