I became Unemployed in april2007,at the time I had 1 mortgage with TMB and 4secured loans by the then sister co halifax, all PPI`s were covered by halifax assurance IRE ,claimed on the PPI`s the mortgage and 1 loan were successfull
but 2 loans payed only3 months and have refused to pay claiming I had canceled the insurance!!the last loan when arranged by halifax I was told that I had enough insurance to cover the repayment`s so I went ahead only to discover
that there was no cover at all.
I gave the agreements to"RATIO MONEY"to have them assessed only to find that none of the loans were CCA1974 complient, I have the assessments at hand.
On top of all this I had to claim housing costs from the DWP so I prepared documents to go to halifax, three sets of doc`s were needed sent march, june & august 2008 to this day none of those doc`s have reached the DWP,in june 2008 i sent doc`s to the TMB which were completed and returned to the DWP and was successfull are being payed today.

Hello Dino and welcome to Legal Beagles.

First and foremost, Halifax have breached not only OFT Debt Collection Guidelines, a copy of which I am attaching to this post, but Section 40, Administration of Justice Act 1970 (AoJA) and Sections 2 & 7, Protection from Harassment Act 1997 (PfHA), also.

You say Halifax have made numerous attempts to repossess you house. Have these attempts failed, when the matter has gone to court? I am also concerned that Halifax have been telling porkies and engaging in shenanigans with the DWP forms you sent them.

My advice, at this stage, is to contact the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) and see if they can help. Keep the DWP up to speed about the Halifax's behaviour.

There are other LB members who are more familiar with financial matters than I am. My background is in policing and criminal matters, so I can advise on matters in those areas.

If time is on your side, let the LB members familiar with finance advise you and take it from there.
