Following on from my previous thread: Statutory Demand from Capquest - Advice needed - Legal Beagles Consumer Forum
I received a load of papers from Capquest by recorded delivery, saying that they won't be attending the set aside hearing (on tuesday) but have submited a statement - basically a copy of the 'alleged' cca with no signatures, dates etc.
Also they have sent copies (just printed out a4 sheets) of the supposed assignment of debt, one dated from 2005 and one from 2009. I know I have never received these, and it looks like they have fabricated them to try and cover their backs.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?
Do I just deny every receiving these letters? I suppose it is their word against mine seeing as they weren't sent recorded delivery, if they were ever sent at all?
