    Incorrect Data on HP Agreement Documentation

    Hi,

    I'm hoping someone can offer me some advice?

    I bought a new car on HP through a company called RCI Finance in Nov 2006. A couple of months ago I looked into a part-ex deal on the vehicle however the garage couldn't find any information relating to the outstanding balance on the HP Agreement.

    I have looked into this and have discovered the RCI Finance have the incorrect registration plate of the vehicle (one didgit is missing). Is this still a legally binding agreement, as there is no history of any HP on this vehicle?

    Hoping someone can help....
