Please forgive the font size, I'm a bit blind and don't want to misread anything.
I wrote to Mint (RBS) requesting a "true copy" etc. etc. and enclosing the £1.00 postal order.
They responded by sending me a photocopy of the original Application Form.
I have not been able to actually work out from this forum, or C.A.G what is actually seen as their being compliant with the duty placed on them by The Consumer credit Act 1974, with regard to supplying a "true copy".
My question is simply whether or not this is an acceptable response (legally) to my request.
Has anything actually got to court yet on this?
My reason for asking them for a true copy of the original agreement was to ascertain whether or not they could, for no apparent fair or logical reason, reduce my credit limit, and ramp up the interest to an unacceptable level.
That is as far as it has got.
I have never missed a payment since 2004 when I first took out the card so found their actions grossly unethical.
