I'm wondering if I could get some advice on a matter I have with the lovely Littlewoods aka Shop Direct.
At the end of August I ordered an item and it never arrived. I waited a couple of weeks as i'm used to Littlewoods sometimes having Delays.
I then reported the item as not arriving to Littlewoods and requested that the transaction be put on hold until its resolved, the agent I spoke to agreed.
I requested a courier tracking number so I could contact the delivery company directly, when I looked up the reference number with Yodel it said that it had been delivered with my surname.
I spoke with the Track and Trace Department at Littlewoods and they said a Signature was required for this delivery.
I asked both Yodel and Littlewoods for a copy of my signature and both haven't been able to provide it.
I've now noticed that they have updated my credit report saying that the payment is late for the item,
I went back to Littlewoods to complain, spoke to 5 agents (all in South Africa), every time I ask for a supervisor they literally put the phone down - i've been as polite as possible. Noone has been able to help me. They confirmed that the agent did say the transaction would be put on hold until the matter was resolved, but then say its not something they should have done.
I emailed there Directors office (DirectorsOffice@shopdirect.com) and am waiting for a reply
If I had known this would have caused damage to my credit report I would have just paid the sum pending the dispute being resolved, but now the damage is done - my credit card company even tried to reduce the credit limit I had siting the update the credit report from Littlewoods. Luckily they understanding and took my long history with them into account were able to manually reverse the decision on this (thankfully).
I cant seem to get anywhere with Littlewoods to resolve this. Can anyone offer any advice?
