Re: Natwest and incorrect adverse credit report

Been home for lunch, and the letter has arrived, confirming erroneous data removed, grovelling a bit, and confirming that £100 will be paid into our account shortly.

Well done -it is hard work to get something on your credit search removed. I am still battling with some on mine - just searches - but they were for a fraudulent transaction and Orange and O2 have been useless. Its the principle of it- they never had my permission and I want it removed,
      So well done you

Just a final postscript to above - Natwest have just given us a further advance on the mortgage, so obviously my credit file is now intact.

Me being a cheeky sort of a person, asked if I would get any compensation. he asked what I'd like. I said what was he offering. His reply was "would you like a bit of cash or a couple of bottles of wine" i said a lot of cash would be better! He offered 50 quid, I went for 150, settled in the end on £100. Says he's got to confirm but should be okay, and will write to confirm today.
