just an update on this. the bank did not honor the transactions made in madrid.
They were burgled last Friday and received a letter from the bank yesterday saying......
........ the CARD THAT HAS BEEN CANCELED (the one mentioned above) has had new transactions applied to it on the 13th Feb, totaling £600 and was used in Barcelona. IF WE DO NOT HEAR FROM YOU REGARDING THIS MATTER, WE WILL HONOR THE PAYMENTS AND APPLY THEM TO YOUR ACCOUNT.........
