Some time ago we received a letter from Bank smart offering PPI claims. after giving Bank & Building soceity details, we received various claim forms all of which meant very little to us, we Have tried to contact them but they do not have any contact nos. We have received payments to the amount of £3368. since then we have received a statement asking for a payment off £1,012. We were totally shocked to find that they were asking for nearly one third of our return. Are they in there right to claim that amount.
The thought of being deceived by miss sold PPI in the first instance. And now to find that a company that refuse to speak to ourselves in person have now put our confidence in so called Claims Management services at a all time low.

Hi and welcome.

Did they provide you with any paperwork about the fees, on how much % they want if you succeed for them acting for you on your behalf, if they didnt go anything or if you didnt sign up, then they are not entitled to anything from your reclaim.

If you had thought you could have done this yourself free, and help from this sites and others alike, where all the money come back to you.
I can imagine how frustrated you must feel if you've not heard from them, and if they did not keep you updated on the process etc.

You can however make a complaint to the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) if Bank Smart failed you in any way, under claims management
