  • Credit Cards and reclaims

    Hi
Just after some info on reclaiming the cost of faulty goods from the credit card company.
If you make a purchase on a personal credit card that is not for personal use (say a business cost) and it is faulty can you still claim against the bank.

An example might be, if I was going self employed and bought a laptop on my own credit card, the laptop was faulty but Comet have gone bust am I covered. The credit card company are saying that as it was for business use they do not cover it

Am not sure I would have declared to them that it was for business .

I think you are still covered: http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.u...th-credit.html
