  • NatWest experiencing computer issues again

NatWest have just confirmed that they are having issues again with their computer system.

"We are aware of the problems our customers are having and apologise, we will provide more information as soon as we have it."

This is currently affecting Online banking(no access) and to card transactions(currently being declined). It does not affect ATM or their mobile app.

More info when I can find it or when others find it before me.

ATM's maybe affected but if you are using Paypal connected to your NatWest account then you will get a failed message.

The issue was resolved around 1am according to the bbc report but they are getting together another pool for compensation. A lot of people who shopped online and in supermarkets were having payments declined.

Had problems on line first thing.
Went shopping and was able to use ATM, big Q at the bank though!
Just checked on line and everything seems ok now.
Bit fed up of them trying to get me to download there security softwear though!!:smash:

It was probably caused by a cleaner who plugged her vacuum into a power socket used by a server.

Or someone forgot to top up the electricity pre-payment meter.
