I have recently had a Judge ruled in favour of Lloyds TSB to repossess the home I live in.
She ruled that I do not exist anywhere in the mortgage documents so I do not have any rights to take issue with the bank, the Bank did not know I exist. The bank paid for my husband'srelocation to the UK and I was also on the ticket. They also paid for temporary accommodation for us both to live in.
It was also found that they arranged the mortgage out side of their Resposible Lending policy, the judge ruled that Lloyds TSB was not abliged to lend responsibly.
Why did it take four years for them to get to this point, the judge dismissed our evidence and would not have me say anything in my defence. To this day I have my voice has not been heard.
To date I have not been offered an appointment to address the issues of my husbands financial situation, since his sudden death. He was also their ex-employee.
I have had two sets of legal advisors all of whom have been stonewalled by the said bank, by not reply to letters or sending out inappropriate responses to questions asked.
It took them almost four years to get this place and it has left me in a very poor state all round and homeless.
I was never granted an interview as promised at the time of bringing in proof of my husbands death, I was advised the accounts would be frozen but I would be called in to discuss the situation this as never happened. My husband died without leaving a Will, so I really needed guidance at this very cruicial point in a persons life.
They have fabricated that I did not bring in the Death Certificate until 4 or 6 months after his death. This was not the case, it was brought to them within days as I needed to access money for sorting out his Funeral, this has never happened.
It has cost me all the money I had including fees for them taking me to court and adjournments because they did not have the paper work.
I am sorry this is so long winded, but I am trying to condense four years of misery to make sense.
I wonder if anyone has any thoughts on this, I would be grateful to hear it.
Thank you
