      Well it is not often I give praise to the banking industry, but on this occasion the Halifax have excelled themselves which cant be a bad thing considering they are part of Lloyds.

      Phoned the Halifax today to make my mortgage payment and was told that there was nothing to pay turns out there had just been a credit of £2,780 made to my mortgage account which relates to the SVR as above so my arrears of £336 plus the payment for March has already been made

      There is now a credit of £2,008 which I have asked to be returned via a cheque.

      Nice result Well Done Halifax for being so swift
