ok. what do I do if I have a student account and am within my overdraft limit but bank is taking some charges (£25) and they make me overdrawn for a month.
the overdrawn charges occurred as when I switched bank accounts my car insurance was delayed and in 1st Sept 2010 they tried to take the payment out of our account as it was agreed but I had no money on it unfortunately as I only got paid 18th each month. So the payment bounced back. (£8) on 7th they tried it again but the money bounced back again.
after made the agreement with the insurance company that the payment will be paid 22nd each month and the final payment will be in November instead of October the company charged me another £120 but only the £100 bounced back, the insurance took £20 again.
I know on the beginning it was my fault and I am ok with that. But after an agreement they still took out £120 of my account which gave me extra charges with my bank so I got charged and I could not pay it back until today.
It was my last payment from my work as I have taken voluntary redundancy - would be made redundant otherwise on the end of November.I v no longer have income but I do not want to get in debt. please help.
